In English: 6:00pm in the Parish Hall every Friday.

Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are mandatory days of fasting and abstinence. Fridays of Lent are obligatory days of abstinence from meat. Fasting applies for those between the ages of 18 to 59 years.

During the fast, you are allowed to eat a full meal and two additional smaller meals, but they are not to be equivalent to a full meal. In the United States, abstinence from meat is obligatory for those over 14 years old.

Rite of Election

On Sunday February 21, 2021, 14 catechumens were accepted as ELECT in the Rite of Election.

The program began in the morning when the catechumens were sent from San Isidro Parish at the 11:30 Mass to the Rite of Election at 6:00 pm Liturgy of the Word presided by Bishop Enrique Delgado.

First Reading – Gn 22:1-2, 9a, 10-13, 15-18

God put Abraham to the test. He called to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am!” he replied. Then God said: “Take your son Isaac, your only one, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah. There you shall offer him up as a holocaust on a height that I will point out to you.”

Food Ministry

Thanks to the generosity of the community of San Isidro, we are able to reach families in need. We need drivers to deliver food every week as much as your monetary contribution. You can make a difference in people's lives and serve the Lord.

Prayer of Pope Francis in times of a Pandemic

O Mary, you always brighten our path as a sign of salvation and of hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who, at the Cross, took part in Jesus’ pain while remaining steadfast in faith.
O loving Mother, you know what we need, and we are confident you will provide for us as at Cana in Galilee.
Intercede for us with your Son Jesus, the Divine Physician, for those who have fallen ill, for those who are vulnerable, and for those who have died.
Intercede also for those charged with protecting the health and safety of others and for those who are tending to the sick and seeking a cure.
Help us, O Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father and to do as we are told by Jesus,
who took upon himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows, so as to lead us, through the Cross, to the glory of the Resurrection. Amen.
Under thy protection we seek refuge, O Holy Mother of God.
In our needs, despise not our pettions, but deliver us always from all dangers, O glorious and blessed Virgin. Amen.
